The pandemic has triggered a new wave of mental health concerns among children and adolescents. Suicide has become a leading cause of death for teenagers in recent years. Numerous challenges confront healthcare, social services, and education sectors. Educators often feel overwhelmed and lack proper tools to handle teenagers struggling with high anxiety, self-harm, and suicidal thoughts. The shortcomings of support systems further complicate the situation.

Internationally renowned speakers will be coming to Budapest under the organization of the Anna Freud Centre (AFC) in London, the Hungarian Association for Mentalization (Magyar Mentalizációs Egyesület) in Pécs, the Pro Juventa Foundation and Murmo Centre for Psychology and Art Therapy in Budapest. They will deliver concurrent training programs in MBT (Mentalization-Based Therapy) for adults and MBT-A (Mentalization-Based Treatment for Adolescents). These therapeutic approaches serve the greater good of society across Europe.
